The My Healthy Balance program is a free healthy lifestyle program for all adults that was funded by the Department of Health Western Australia.
The My Healthy Balance program provides you with the skills and information you need to make informed decisions about nutrition, exercise and stress so that you can make sustainable positive changes in your life. It is personalised to you - so it works to help you overcome the unique barriers in your life.
The program is suitable for all adults. Whatever your goal, the program will help you to make informed decisions for the rest of your life.
The program is based on the Australian Dietary Guidelines and Australia’s Physical Activity and Sedentary Behaviour Guidelines for Adults. The Australian Dietary Guidelines are informed by 55,000 peer reviewed journal articles. The Australian Physical Activity and Sedentary Behaviour Guidelines for Adults were developed by consultants who conducted a systematic review and researched literature. To date, these guidelines provide the most credible information to guide our eating and physical activity choices.
